John Cope (c1787- ) of Sherwin, Cope and Co

c1787 Born in Burnley

1851 Living at 5 Thomas Street, Shoreditch: John Cope (age 64 born Burnley), Engineer and Press Maker. With his wife Rebekah Cope (age 63 born Braintree) and their daughter Alice Cope (age 40 born Burnley), unmarried. Also his grand-daughter Alice Cope (age 12 born Shoreditch).[1]

1857 Mention. Rebecca Cope, age 66, widow of John Cope, of Sherwin and Cope, engineers, Cumberland street, Shoreditch.[2]
