John Edward Eager

1879 John Eager became the company head designer. He specialised in fast boats and designed a number of new vessel types, such as torpedo boats, gunboats and tankers.[1]

Eager's former villa is now the Park Hotel Turku.[2]

Born 17 January 1837 in Plymouth, Devon, son of John Eager and Elizabeth Eager Married Jane Ann Eager. Children: John David Eager; Jane Annie Eager; Elizabeth Anderson Alléen; Richard Albert Eager; Alice Mary Eager and one other.

Died 27 June 27 1908 in Åbo, Turku, Finland
