Mr Jno. Green, brewer of Chelsea,

The Green family had for many years been prominently connected with Chelsea.

His second son, George Green went on to establish an early shipyard on the Thames.

c.1772 Jno. Green died. The brewery business became less successful and his widow moved her family to Battersea.
