John Henry Jevons (1858-1915), Borough Surveyor and Engineer of Hertford


1916 Obituary [1]

JOHN HENRY JEVONS, born at Kingswinford, Staffordshire, on the 17th March, 1858, died on the 13th October, 1915.

From 1905 until his death he was Borough Surveyor and Engineer of Hertford, and had been engaged on sewerage and water-supply works.

Previously he had acted as contractor’s engineer on railway and sanitary works in various parts of England, and for 3 pears was Surveyor and Water Engineer of Braintree, Essex.

He was elected an Associate Member on the 6th April, 1897.
