JOHN LUNT, son of the late Mr. Joseph Lunt, was born at Chester, on the 14th of April, 1832, and at the age of twenty left England for Melbourne, where he set up in business as a builder and contractor.

In 1858 he entered the service of the Victorian Government, in the Railway Department, in which he remained until his death.....[more]
