John Pitts (1845-1907) of British Paper Co

1907 Died. 'The death announced of Mr. John Pitts, his residence, Frogmore Mill-house, Apsley End, on Monday afternoon, from an acute attack of pneumonia, after an illness of a short duration. Mr. Pitts was native of Devonshire, resigning his appointment Countess Wear Paper Mills, Exeter, to take up the position of at the Frogmore Mills, Apsley End, about twenty years ago, since which time, the firm, trading as the British Paper Co., Ltd. have, under the managing directorship of Mr. C. Sanguinetti, considerably added to the buildings and plant necessary to cope with more extensive business....'[1]
