John Smith, Junior and Co or John Smith, Junior, and Co of Great Lever Bleach Works, Bolton.

1883 "NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, Richard Bennett, Cuthbert Outram Hermon, and Reginald Varley, carrying on business as Bleachers and Chemical Manufacturers, at the Great Lever Bleach and Chemical Works, near Bolton, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of John Smith, Junior, and Co., has, by mutual consent, been dissolved, as from the 31st day of March, 1883, so far as regards the said Reginald Varley, who retires from the firm.[1]
