John Varden (c1805- )

c1805 Born in Southwark the son of James Kitely Varden and his wife Jane Bolton. Brother to Richard Varden

Engineer of the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway

1851 Living at Lowdown House, Claines, Worcs: John Varden (age 46 born Southwark), Civil Engineer. With his wife Elizabeth Varden (age 43 born London). Also his two nieces Elizabeth Jane Varden (age 2 born Claines) and Ellen Charlotte Varden (age 11 Months born Claines). Also his nephew Thomas G. Smith (age 17 born Islington). Three servants.[1]
