1829/1831 Advertisement. 'Albion and Athol Press Manufactory. JONATHAN and JEREMIAH BARRETT, (Executors of the late R. W. Cope), Engineers, etc. 14 New North-Street, Finsbury, London, continue to carry on the above business for the sole benefit of the Widow and Children of the deceased; and while it has been under their care they have spared no pains that the various pieces of Machinery manufactured then should be made upon the most approved principles, and executed in the best manner; they warrant their Goods for Twelve Months, with fair usage: and as to price, they are able to compete with any House in London. The following Articles are generally kept to hand, or may be finished at a few days notice: Hopkinson's Improved Albion Printing Press...[a long list of items]...Every information may be had on application to J. Hopkinson, or to Mr. Cornish, at the Caslon Foundry, a Gentleman well known to the Newspaper Proprietory in this Country, and through whose exertions the Executors have great pleasure in stating that Hopkinson's Improved Albion Printing Press has been introduced into many of the largest Establishments in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.'[1][2]
