1889 Established by Daniel Jopson and Albert Ashworth trading as Jopson and Ashworth.

Name changed to Jopson, Ashworth and Edmunds when Edmonds joined the partnership.

1900 Acquired by the British Cotton and Wool Dyers Association.[1]
