1928 Kryn and Lahy Metal Works was acquired by George Cohen, Sons and Co[1]

1930s Browett Lindley production was moved to the Letchworth factory

By 1947 the name K. and L. Steelfounders and Engineers was being used

1947 Largest maker of carbon steel castings in UK. Manufactured Jones mobile cranes, Coborn air-cooled petrol and paraffin engines and Browett Lindley compressors and steam engines[2]
