1896 Incorporated as a Limited Company to acquire the James Kay, Atlas Brewery, Ardwick; and the Beaumont and Heathcote, Standard Brewery, Chorlton, Manchester. The Standard Brewery was subsequently sold and brewing concentrated at the Atlas Brewery.

1929 Acquired by Frederic Robinson.

1936 Ceased brewing.
