The business of John Eddy (1818-1883) trading as Eddy and Sons

1912 Business sold. 'successful sale of the premises and stock-in-trade of the late Mr. John Eddy, agricultural engineer, of Kennford. A large number interested in the trade were present. The premises were knocked down to Mr. W. Baker, of West-Street, Exeter, at £385, and much of the stock realised satisfactory price. The closing the works are greatly regretted throughout the parish, and Mrs. and Miss Eddy, who are leaving Kennford, will take with them the respect and good wishes of the whole parish. ' [1]
