1870 Born in Hertford the son of Alexander Peter McMullen, Brewster and Maltster, and his wife Mary Ann Shepherd

1899 Application for membership if the IEE. Living at Redditch and chief residential electrical engineer of the Redditch UDC. Worked for ten years in partnership with J. A. McMullen

1908 Married in Bothwell to Eva Matilda Ellen Sutton

1910-11 of Brimpton, Berkshire where he built a car a few cars - the Rational - and planned an aeroplane
