1908 Model of a glass cone as used at Lemington was by shown the owners, Robertson Lamp Works[1]
Before WWI, Lemington Glass Works (Lemington-on-Tyne) supplied about 80 percent of the electric light bulbs and tubing used by Osram-Robertson Lamp Works[2].
1914 Made the glass required for maufacturing Osram metal filament lamps[3]
1915 Osram Lamp Works, Robertson Lamp Works and Lemington Glass Works were amalgamated by GEC[4].
1920 The glass works were extended considerably by GEC to supply the glass demands of the lamp works[5]
1961 New company to be formed to take over the glass manufacture and sales activities of GEC at Lemington and Wembley and AEI Lamp and Lighting Co at Chesterfield but not Glass Bulbs[6]
