1880 Incorporated as a limited company under the title of Robert Lindsay and Co.

1883 Re-registered as Lindsay, Thompson and Co.

1914 Flax spinners; linen thread, linen and muslin manufacturers; bleachers, dyers, weavers and printers. [1]

1929 Listed Exhibitor. Manufacturers of Highest Class of Linen Threads, for Boots and Shoes, Tailoring, Bookbinding, Haberdashery, Carpets, Coach Trimmings, Gilling, Fishing Lines, etc., also Flax and Tow Yarns Spinners and Handkerchief Manufacturers.
