1945 Research began by Pye and Murphy on television relay system

1950 Company formed to develop the television relay system

1951 First commercial service offered

1953 British Relay Wireless and Television incorporated as a public company[1]; acquired Link Sound and Vision Services from Murphy Radio and Pye.
