Lister Electrical Machinery Co
- Previously the Lister Electric Light and Power Manufacturing Co at the River Mill, Dursley.
- 1903 On the death of his brother in law, Ashton Lister took over the company. Formed the Lister Electrical Machinery Co.
- 1907 The company and factory was taken over by Mr H. St. Hill Mawdsley when he arrived in the town. He promptly renamed the mill the "Zone Works" to commemorate the "Zone" patents he held on the design of a 2-pole DC motor.
