One of the Automotive Products Associated Co group of companies which included Lockheed Hydraulic Brake Co. The Automotive Products Co had started work on aircraft undercarriages in 1937

1958 Private company formed.

1959 Part of the Automotive Products Group[1]

1961 Manufacturers of industrial hydraulics, aircraft hydraulic equipment, hoses and self-sealing couplings. 1,200 employees.[2]

1969 received orders for hydraulic controls for ships being built in various countries.

1970 The marine division received orders for hydraulic control equipment for 6 bulk carriers being built in Yugoslavia[3]. The aircraft division received order for hydraulic equipment for the Chieftain bridgelayer[4]

1972 Received orders for hydraulics for the undercarriage of 8 Nimrod aircraft, and undercarriage equipment for Bulldog trainers ordered by the RAF[5]

1973 Lockheed Precision Products (see advert)

Presumably became AP Precision Hydraulics
