1869 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between as the undersigned, Lawrence Brown and John Utber Burt, under the name of the London Velocipede Manufacturing Company,' in the building of Velocipedes, and carried on at Queen's-wharf, King's-road, Saint Pancras; in the county of Middlesex, has been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts owing to or by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Lawrence Brown, who will in future carry on the said business on his own account...'[1]
