Luxmore and Hubbard
L and H was a motorcycle produced from 1923 to 1925 by Luxmore and Hubbard of Ilfracombe, on the North Devon coast.
This short-lived make was created to fill a gap in the market, and the L and H was a big twin fitted with a 976cc sv V-twin JAP engine and a four-speed Jardine gearbox. Built to cope with the hilly terrain of the area, it was probably only of local interest. With Ilfracombe being so far from the centre of industry, L and G soon disappeared.
