1947 Private company established by British Rollmakers Corporation to build a new plant on a green-field site at Crewe.

1951 The new plant came into production. Work was gradually transferred to Crewe from the West Bromwich and Wolverhampton plants of British Rollmakers Corporation, which were then closed.

1961 Manufacturers of rolls for ferrous and non-ferrous industries. [1]

By 1974 had acquired 50.5% interest in Gibson Engineering Co Ltd
