Fairbairn and Sons', Manchester) respectfully informs the Millowners, Agriculturists, and the Public generally that he has entered upon the premises formerly occupied by the late Mr. [[George Ingledew]], which he is fitting up with new and improved Machinery, and is therefore prepared to manufacture STEAM ENGINES, WATER WHEELS, CORN MILLS, WIND MILLS, HYDRAULIC MACHINERY of every description, PORTABLE ENGINES, &c, on the most approved principles. G. L. is assisted by an experienced Manager, who was for several years Head Draughtsman at Messrs. Fairbairn's. <br>Improved Thrashing machines, recommended for simplicity of construction and few parts. <br>Agent for [[James Thomson (1822-1892)|Professor Thompson's]] Patent Vortex Turbine Water Wheels, adapted for driving every kind of machinery. <br>Manufacturer of Carter's Patent Fire Alarum, which will give warning of any increase of temperature, which renders it the best preventive of fire. <br>Engineering and Millwright work of every description. <br>Situation Sites, Water, inspected by a competent  person (free of charge beyond travelling expenses incurred), who will advise as to the best arrangement of any kind of machinery, and from which plans or estimates can be made. <br>GEORGE LOW, Engineer, Millwright, and Implement Maker.
