1913 Napier Turbochargers Ltd was incorporated to acquire and continue the business of Napier Motors Ltd
1950s Napier began developing turbochargers which later found uses in marine, power generation and rail applications.
By 1961 Napiers was owned by English Electric Co
1963 English Electric acquired the turbo-charger business of Hawker Siddeley Brush Turbines Ltd[1]. Manufacture would be moved to Napier's Liverpool works[2].
1973 D. Napier and Son Ltd was renamed Napier Turbochargers Ltd[3]
