1948 The Nelson laboratories consisted of 2 groups:[1]

  • 1) adjoining the company's Stafford works
  • 2) situated at Blackheath Lane, near Stafford.

1952 Seven DEUCE computers were built at the Nelson Research Laboratories at Blackheath, with first delivery in 1952.
