The company produced marine diesel engines designed by H. Kent-Norris and traded as Sirron (Norris in reverse) Diesels

1936 The Everard Shipping Co took a controlling interest in the company

1940s. Newbury Diesel Co produced the Sirron engine in two-stroke and four-stroke formats

1981 Became Newbury Diesel Controls

1987 Business sold to Radamec
