1837 Listed as ironfounders, West Street, Glasgow.[1]

1844 Partnership dissolved. 'The copartnership carried on by the subscribers as Iron Founders in Tradeston, Glasgow, under the form of Newton, Bennie and Co is this day dissolved by mutual consent. 12th July 1844. Thomas Newton. James Bennie.'[2]
