Norah Riley (nee Crouch) (1895–1984).
1895 Born at 10 Church Lane, Handsworth, on 13 April, the daughter of Joseph Crouch (1859–1936), architect, and his wife, Ellen Ellis, née Leonard (1859–1945).
1920 Married Percy Riley on 29 April.
1938 The Riley Engine Co, which Percy had established, was kept out of the Nuffield take-over of the rest of Riley; it was renamed P. R. Motors
1941 After the death of Percy Riley, Norah took charge of the company[1], running it successfully for many years.
1966 P. R. Motors was acquired by Newage Engineers in 1966.
1984 Norah died at 31 Kenilworth Road, Leamington, on 25 November.
