Norfolk Line Ltd, British subsidiary of Norfolk Lijn of the Netherlands.

Mac Fisheries operated an agency for Norfolk Lijn at Great Yarmouth

1960s The company started a service from Great Yarmouth to Scheveningen using roll-on roll-off ferries to carry trailers (different from containers) serving the freight market between Britain and the Continent but also carrying some passengers.

1973 Norfolk Line Ltd was a joint venture between the Dutch company and Mac Fisheries, subsidiary of Unilever[1]

1973 Norfolk Lijn was acquired by Unilever[2]

1985 Unilever disposed of the last of its transport businesses, Norfolk Line, to Maersk[3]

2000 Introduced a car ferry service between Dover and Dunkerque.

2006 Norfolk Line Containers BV was acquired by DFDS
