1932 Nu-way Burners Limited was founded.

1935 That company was renamed Nu-way Heating Plants Limited - to reflect the manufacture and sales of equipment other than oil burners.

1937 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Working exhibit of Rotavac Oil Burner on 200 seconds cold oil demonstrating atomisation, gaseous flame, single control, wide range easy assembly. Nu-Way Underfeed Stokers for hot water and steam boilers. (Stand No. D.907).[1]

Because of common usage over the years, the company became known (and registered) as Nu-way Limited.

1959 Oil Burner Components Limited was founded by Nu-way, as a national spares organisation. Out of that grew O.B.C. Limited

1960 Nu-way Heating was acquired by the Wolseley plc group of companies, becoming a mainstay of the group.

1963 New company formed by Wolseley Hughes as a subsidiary of Nu-Way Heating Plants. This was called Nu-Way Benson. It was formed by amalgamation of the agricultural machinery airheater (Econoil) division of Nu-Way Heating Plants with Adams and Benson (Agricultural)[2]

1968 Nu-Way Benson made air heaters, dryers and agricultural mechanical handling equipment. Nu-Way made oil and gas firing equipment[3]

1983 Nu-way Heating Plants Limited became Nu-Way Ltd

1993 Nu-way became a member of the largest burner group in the world, following the acquisition of the Enertech Group of companies by Wolseley Hughes. Wolseley Centers Limited was the major distributor of plumbing and central heating equipment in the UK and with associate companies throughout Europe and America.

2009 Nu-Way Ltd renamed Enertech Ltd
