1874 Brief reference in 'The Engineer' to the Outwood Iron Company having just completed one of their new blast furnaces, which is ready for blowing in [1]
1876 'The Engineer' of 30th March briefly reported that the 'Oatwood' furnace was being blown in again after having been stopped for several months for repairs.
