The Parkray was a solid fuel convector fire, designed and made by Radiation, in response to the proposal of the 1952 Ridley Committee[1]
1961 Radiation consolidated its central heating equipment under the Parkray brand, whether working on gas, oil or solid fuel[2]
1967 Radiation was taken over by Tube Investments
1968 Strike at the factory at Belper[3]
1987 TI sold its home heating division, Glow Worm Boilers and Parkray, to Hepworth Ceramic Holdings[4]
Today, Parkray is based near Exeter in Devon, offering solid fuel and multi-fuel heating devices.
