1901 'Mr. P. Pitman of Halifax' supplied a 3ft diameter Pelton wheel, with two nozzles, to the Tamer(?) Waterworks, Chester. It was combined with a steam engine to drive a dynamo for lighting.[1]
1907 Living at Cropthorne, Pershore
1926 Granted US Patent No. 1,608,565 for a needle valve and flow deflector which to control the speed of jet-impelled water wheels.
1961 Percy Pitman died at Wood Green, Middlesex.
