1925 N. V. Philips of the Netherlands registered Philips Lamps Ltd as its UK subsidiary, to manufacture electrical lamps; this company also held its shares in Mullard[1].

1927 N.V. Philips purchased the remaining shares in Mullard[2].

Late 1920s: started marketing valves imported from N. V. Philips

Marketed radio sets and other electronic equipment.

1947 Reorganisation by N. V. Philips of its subsidiaries; Philips Lamps Ltd and Mullard became wholly-owned subsidiaries of a new company Philips Electrical Ltd.
