Patent agents

1835 William Carpmael and Mr. Poole, the Attorney General’s clerk of the Patents entered into partnership as patent agent and consulting engineers,

1849 "NOTICE is hereby given, that the Copartnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Moses Poole and William Carpmael, as Patent Agents and Solicitors, and Specifiers of Patents for New Inventions and Registering Designs for Articles of Manufacture, under the firm of Poole and Carpmael, was dissolved on the 31st day of December 1848, by mutual consent.—Dated this 8th day of February 1849. signed Moses Poole. William Carpmael.[1]

Presumably succeeded by Carpmael and Co
