1985 DWMS was incorporated

1986 Name changed to Premier Brands

1986 Acquired the beverages and foods division of Cadbury Schweppes

1988 Acquired London Herb and Spice Co and Pickerings Foods[1]

1989 Acquired by Hillsdown Holdings. Sold the canning division of British Fish Canners (Fraserbrugh) to another member of the Hillsdown Holdings group[2]

1991 Subsidiaries included:[3]

as well as a number of overseas Premier Brand companies.

2002 Premier Brands bought Nestlé's ambient foods business including Sarson's vinegar and Branston Pickle[4]

2004 Premier Brands Foods plc was incorporated; its name was changed to Premier Foods plc later in the year.

2004 Premier Foods plc was listed on the London Stock Exchange
