Preston and Longridge Railway

From Graces Guide

This eight mile line ran from Preston to Longridge via Grimsargh. It started out in 1836 as a horse-drawn tramway and was converted to steam working in 1848. It was bought by the Fleetwood, Preston and West Riding Junction Railway in 1856.
