1858 Originally named by the founding Price family as Price Brothers and Co, wool merchant, the business moved rapidly into manufacturing beds.

1935 The company changed its name to Relyon Ltd.

1947 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Manufacturers of the Relyon Range of "Home Comforts" comprising Spring Filled Mattresses, Hair and Cotton Felt Mattresses, Pillows, Divan Beds and Attractive Box Ottomans. (Earls Court, 1st Floor, Stand Nos. 693 and 765) [1]

1966 Relyon became a public company known as Relyon Group p.l.c. and diversified into other areas.

2001, the group was acquired by Steinhoff International Holdings Ltd., a quoted South African group with worldwide sales.
