1906 R. Stevenson Taylor and Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £39,353, 'to acquire the licensed businesses at 260 Buchanan Street and 430 Parliamentary Road, 69 Bridge Street and 152 Norfolk Street, and 117 Great Eastern Road and 1 Croft Street, Glasgow, which belonged to the late Edward Taylor, wine and spirit merchant, Glasgow.'[1]
