c1853 Born, son of William Brougham, second Baron Brougham Vaux (1795-1886), brother of Henry Brougham (1786-1868), first Baron Brougham Vaux.
1879 Started work in electrical lighting
1880 Effected improvements in Andre's incandescent lamp
Went into partnership with K. MacKenzie as consulting engineers. They carried out the installation at Grosvenor Gallery Cenrtal Electric Lighting Station.
1884 Married Augusta Louisa Hungerford
1885 Became an Associate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers
1886 of 15 Great George St., Westminster, when he became a member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers
1887 Gained his masters certificate for merchant shipping.
1911 Reginald Thomas Dudley Brougham 57 and Isabella Augusta Brougham 50, were living on private means in Crowborough [1]
1925 Died at Chambery, France[2]
