1855 Married Maria Brereton and had twelve children

1871 Living at Newbridge, Wolverhampton: Richard Chambers (age 36 born Bilston), Iron Master employing 60 men. With his wife Maria Chambers (age 34 born Bilston) and their seven children. two servants.[1]

1881 Living at Edenfield House, Tettenhall: Richard Chambers (age 46 born Bilston), Sheet Iron Manufacturer. With his wife Maria Chambers (age 44 born Bilston) and their ten children. Two servants.[2]
