Richard Pollit (c1822-1887) , Rose-hill Boiler Works, Lever-street, Bolton.

Born the son of Robert Pollit, a Bleacher.

1858 Advertisement. 'ON SALE, one CYLINDER BOILER, 21 feet long by 6 feet diameter, calculated to work at 60 lb. pressure to the square inch, with valves, water-gauge, pressure gauge, door frames, and fire-bars attached.— May be seen at work by applying RICHARD POLLIT, Rose-hill Boiler Works, Lever-street, Bolton.'[1]
