1913 Four of the Riley brothers started a new business focused on manufacturing entire automobiles. The Riley Motor Manufacturing Company was located near Percy Riley's Riley Engine Co in Aldbourne Road. The company offered the 10 and the 12/18. The first new model, the 17/30, was introduced at the London Motor Show that year.

WWI Rover Company made an agreement with Victor Riley for post-war manufacture of the Rover small car[1]

1918 After the war, the Riley companies were restructured - Riley Motor Manufacturing Co came under the control of Allan Riley to become Midland Motor Bodies, a coach-builder for Riley.
