River Tib

From Graces Guide
Revision as of 14:10, 14 March 2019 by JohnD (talk | contribs)

The River Tib is a very minor watercourse passing through the centre of Manchester. It is entirely culverted.

It joins the River Medlock at Knott Mill. The Tib passes under the Rochdale Canal near Lock 89, where there is an old trapdoor in which allows the canal to be drained into the Tib. See YouTube video here[1]
