ROBERT CORYTON ROBERTS, born in Ceylon on the 9th October, 1877, died at Issoire, France, on the 7th June, 1912.
After an apprenticeship at Messrs. John Fowler and Company’s Engine Works, Leeds, he took up the electrical branch of the profession and was employed successively by the Allgemeine Elektricitiits Gesellschaft, Berlin, on three-phase plant, and by Messrs. Kennedy and Jenkin, of Westminster, on tramway work.
He then joined his father in planting rubber in Ceylon, where his health failed.
Mr. Roberts was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 12th January, 1904.
