Robert Harrild (1808-1871) of Harrild and Sons

1808 May 11th. Born in St. Clement Eastcheap the son of Robert Harrild and his wife Elizabeth Billing

1851 Living at Round Hill, Dartmouth Road, Lewisham: Robert Harrild (age 72 born Bermondsey), Printers' Composition Roller Manufactuer. With his wife Elizabeth Harrild (age 70 born Newington Butts) and their son Robert Harrild, Junior (age 42 born St. Clement, East Cheap), Printers' Composition Roller Manufactuer - Widower. Also his sister-in-law Mary Carless (age 58 born Newington Butts), unmarried. Two servants.[1]

1871 Living at Round Hill House, Sydenham: Robert Harrild (age 62 born St Clement Eastcheap), Printers (?). With his wife Mary Ann Harrild (age 39 born Newington) and their four children; Maria Harrild (age 8 born Sydenham); Robt Oliver Harrild (age 7 born Sydenham); Clara Matilda Harrild (age 5 born Sydenham); and Walter Carless Harrild (age 1 born Sydenham). Two visitors. Seven servants.[2]
