TO BE SOLD BY AUCTION, by HENRY SPALL, On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, December 12th, 13th. and 14th, 1838.
ALL the STOCK in TRADE, Household Furniture, and other Effects (by order of the Trustees of Mr. Robert Leggett, Iron-founder and General Smith, under a Deed of Assignment, on the Premises situated in the Bridge Street; comprising a very expensive iron wheel face lathe complete, large slide ditto, capital large iron wheel ditto, for general use, complete; small ditto, excellent anvils and blocks, 4 pair capital bellows. 4 brick forges, capital press drills, 4 screw bench vices, two-horse power blowing machine complete, 2 furnaces for melting and ladles, large crane as fixed, shoeing plate, beck irons, weighing machine, &c., cast-iron weights, steel, bar and hoop iron, a large quantity of iron and wood flasks, share moulds, tooth and wheel patterns, plough-breast and share ditto, weigh-bridge ditto, grate, palisade, banister, range, and stove ditto; black-lead pots, capital assortment of smiths’ working tools of every description, gas fittings in the shop, and a variety of wrought and cast-iron articles, manufactured on the premises. .....
