Robert Stedall (1817-1892), of Pfeil and Co and Pfeil, Stedall and Son, Ironmonger

1841 July 14th. Married. 'July 14th, at St. George's, Bloomsbury, Mr. Robert Stedall, of Nelson-street, Greenwich, to Louisa, youngest daughter Valentine Sentence, of Clare-street, London.'[1]

1844 Birth of son Henry Stedall

1853 Listed as Robert Stedall, Broad Street, Bloomsbury, Ironmonger.[2]

1871 Living at The priory, Archway Road, Highgate: Robert Stedall (age 55 born Merstram), Iron Merchant. With his wife Maria Stedall (age 43 born Hanover Square, London) and their six children; Fanny Stedall (age 23 born Hanover Square, London); Horace Stedall (age 10 born Hampstead); Marian Stedall (age 8 born Hampstead); Constance Stedall (age 5 born Highgate); Florence Stedall (age 4 born Highgate); and Laura Stedall (age 3 born Highgate). Five servants.[3]

1892 September 18th. Died in Brighton. Buried in Norwood Cemetery
