Robert Valentine Macrory (1878- )

1922 M.I.E.E., Electrical Engineer, Electric Supply Station, Londonderry. T. A.: "Electric Station, Londonderry." b. 1878; s. of the late S. M. Macrory, J.P., C.C. Ed. Private school and Cheltenham College. Apprenticeship with Siemens Brothers, Ltd., Woolwich; attended classes at Finsbury Technical College and King's College. Appointed City Electrical Engineer to the Londonderry Corporation in May, 1898, which post he still holds; during this period, output has increased sixteen times; acted as Consulting Engineer to the Corporation, and in connection with many other schemes.
