Robert Wilfred Graham (1823-1917) engineer on the Great Indian Peninsula Railway

1823 March 23rd. Born at Authuret, Cumberland, the son of Fergus Graham, Rector of Authuret and Kirkandrews on Usk, and his wife Jane Paley

1856 Listed as Robert Wilfred Graham, Bombay, Civil Engineer.[1]

1866 Wrote 'Description of the Bhore and Thul Ghat Inclines, on the Great Indian Peninsula Railway'

1871 Living at Kelston Lodge, Kelston, Somerset: Robert W. Graham (age 48 born Authuret), Civil Engineer - Unmarried. With his sister Caroline Graham (age 49 born Authuret) and his niece Caroline A. Ward (age 19 born Carlisle). Three servants.[2]

1874 Director of the East Argentine Railway.[3]

1888 February 21st. Married to Anna Maria Gordon Mackenzie

1891 Staying at Beach Mansions Hotel, South Parade, Portsea: Robert W. Graham (age 68 born Arthuret, Cumberland), Living on own means. With his wife Anne M. Graham (age 64 born Quebec, Canada). Also his step-sons Fred G. Mackenzie (age 36 born Montreal), Captain in 2nd Guards, and H. G. G. Mackenzie (age 21 born Leamington), Undergraduate.[4]

1917 April 20th. Died at The Priory, Roehampton.
